Midtown Lunch

With Potbelly Sandwich slowly blanketing Midtown, I decided to finally stop by their newly open Rock Center location to check out the desserts. When compared to some of the other dessert options around, theirs are fairly cheap, and apparently baked fresh for the shops. Since I was in a cookie mood, I picked up their oatmeal and chocolate chip cookie for some afternoon snacking. At less than $2, I was pleasantly surprised with what I got.

This is one of those larger flat cookies-it had gotten a little smushed in my bag. It definitely tasted and felt freshly baked, nicely soft and chewy. It’s heavier on the oatmeal than the chocolate chips, but they’re still in there, so you still feel like you’re eating an unhealthy cookie. Not that I can complain much for the price. I do definitely think that these should be entered into the running as one of the better cookies in Midtown.
