City Offering a “Taste of the Parks” Today
Despite the latest crackdown it’s not all City vs. Street Vendors these days… the parks department has awarded a bunch of public spots around the city to various carts and trucks, and to celebrate they’re having an event today from 11am to 2pm on 64th and 5th in Central Park. There will be 17 different vendors selling food, plus giving out some free samples (including The Country Boys from the Red Hook Ballfields, The Dosa Cart, Kelvin Slush, Sigmund Pretzels, Eddie’s Pizza Cart, Wafels & Dinges and more.)
