It’s Midtown Lunch Week on Immaculate Infatuation

All this week Chris & Andrew, the two record label guys who run the blog Immaculate Infatuation, are posting their favorite places to eat lunch in Midtown. No big surprises on the list, although we’re kind of intrigued by Between the Bread (on 55th btw. 6+7th) which we’ve somehow managed to miss all these years.  Any other fans out there?

I have an old catering menu from the 90s here in my menu folder. They must have moved because the address is 56th between Lex and 3rd. We had used them many years ago, but can’t remember what their food was like.

Never been to the take out counter but our firm has used them for catering. They’re similar to Dishes – well-prepared high quality tasty food (with corresponding higher prices).

  • We have a corporate account with them. I agree- they do charge a lot of their food. In the mornings, they also serve muffins that are the size of your face.

  • Their lunch options are out of ML range. The cheapest is a tuna sandwich for like $9. The rest is $11-14. Their muffins are different, not dry, but it has a unique consistency.

my coworkers like it when they feel like splurging for some tasty food. It rarely falls under $10 though.
