Prime Rib Hash!?!

This is *way* out of the Midtown Lunch price range (at $16.50) but if you’re looking for a splurge lunch the prime rib hash at Keen’s Steakhouse looks like a total winner (for everybody except your arteries.)

  • This…along with a half dozen oysters and 1-3 glasses of scotch is a recurring comfort dinner for me. I’ve gone so many times this winter that I’m ready to put my own pipe on the ceiling.

  • Prime rib hash (or any GOOD beef hash) — one of the best foods on the planet, IMHO.

And, like ‘hightemp’ advises, add a half dozen oysters, and we’re talking a culinary orgasm, that’s for sure.

I am amazed, amused, and surprised when New City folks get something right (which is rare)!

    Carrion please.

Wow, I love when a restaurant offers high end ingredients in a classic dish. It’s a great way to try something new without really taking a risk; just a new type of fun.

  • and people were knocking on my idea to open up a hash-only restaurant. now it’s finally kicking up a storm in NYC.

ugh, now i’ve got a hankering for duck confit hash.
