Been Caught Shilling

Midtown Lunch oldie but goodie Bread & Olive (on 45th btw. 5+6th) was called out on Eater yesterday for posting a possible shill to Menupages.  Feel free to get excited about their labne all you want- but “favorite mid-town lunch of all time” and “heavenly”?  Let’s not get crazy. [Eater]

    Reading those shills, I have to wonder, if they’re really shills, or wannabe foodbloggercritics who feel the need to write about food as if they’re writing for Zagats or the Times…

    They also have a bad habit of substituting items without warning when I order on seamlessweb – last time they gave me a chicken taok platter when i ordered chicken shawarma platter…
