Kathy on Tim Hortons
Speaking of our resident baked goods expert Kathy YL Chan, the Associated Press enlisted her to taste test a box of Tim Hortons doughnuts. Tough gig, but somebody had to do it!

Timmy hortons – I’ve made the trip to Montreal recently and decided to go directly to the source. The coffee – true lacks the end kick but it’s a smoothe flavor – light. No bitter aftertaste – sweet finish. Now on to the doughnuts – I”ve had the Blueberry fritter – my absolute favorite but it could use a bit more blueberry. But they have a key lime doughnut that was just way more interesting and tangy and sweet. Overall, Tim Horton’s – a Canadian Cunkin Doughnuts. The doughnuts are definitely more dense, not as hollow as a DD.

Compare to Dunkin donuts, Tim Hortons donuts are even sweeter…
