Street Meat Palooza 2 is in the Books
Just wrapped up the judging for the second annual Street Meat Palooza. 30+ lunchers just converged in Bryant Park and palooza’d the hell out of street meat from 15 different Midtown carts. There were some crazy new developments this year, and my hunch is a new winner is going to be crowned. Stay tuned… results will be posted next week.

Seriously, this was the highlight of my summer. Also, leftovers? We’re midtown lunchers, there were none.

I am so upset I couldn’t come…. Wife o’ Api is expecting and I have been taking so much time off that I couldn’t take the uber-long lunch…. :-( I hope it was amazing

Congrats Api. Having a baby seems like a lot of work at first, but it’s worth it. My girl is 1 in 2 weeks.
The SMP2 was fun, but more work than I expected :) I only met Wayne, when I wasn’t accidentally bumping into FressaGirl.
P.s. Cheese is trying too hard.

Never seen ‘palooza’ used a verb. But if there ever was an appropriate time, this was it. Congrats on a second year of street meat insanity.

Scharron, glad you said that. I thought I was weird. Being invited to have some free food (though it cost me $15 in cabrides since I didn’t want to be late there or back to work).
But I keep thinking, wtf was I thinking not just enjoying the experience.
At least I know who you are now :) You and Wayne at least look like your respective icon pictures.

I thought you guys were going to be sequestered away from the public in some sort of Yucca Mountain of food though. I would of watched (Sounds stupid) you eat (Creepy) if I had only known the secret location.
