Chop’t Gets in on the Banh Mi Game
Remember how I said I didn’t understand the whole banh mi backlash? I take it back. Chop’t, the salad chain with 3 locations in Midtown, has now introduced a banh mi cobb, featuring “Niman Ranch Pork alongside a blend of mesclun and cabbage, jalapenos, pickled carrots, cucumbers and a homemade chili-lime dressing.” Ok, now I’ll admit that maybe this has gone a bit too far.

Screw this bring on Mama and her drunken escapades!

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a sucker for Niman Ranch Pork…but I’ve never eaten a salad for lunch in my life!

Another mention of Chopt here (or that Danish fried-poop place) and I may have to boycott ML. (For a while anyway.)
Chopt is plain stupid, as is any workerdrone/sheep who would eat there.

I tried it and it was good. Chop’t is not the cheapest, but they have good ingredients. Plus, who doesn’t like a little pork in their salad? Mmmmm…. healthy.

I had this today. It was pretty unspectacular. It’s a spicy salad with chunks of soft pork. They have many better choices.

The best choice at Chopt is avoidance.

Ugh. Their Banh Mi salad doens’t even sound appetizing. ;p
