Do You Have Fewer Friends Because Of Midtown Lunch?
From Lunch’er Sarah in the comments: “My coworkers are… all hip young ladies who live in Brooklyn, but given a choice where would they eat lunch? Subway, Burger King, Cosi if they’re feeling fancy. About the closest we can come to making each other happy is ordering from Guy and Gallard, and that’s just wrong. Also they have stopped asking me where to eat b/c I’m always like “oh I read about this awesome Peruvian Chicken place that is totally cheap!” and that is not a satisfactory answer.” Related: Quality vs. Company. Is that Sarah the flirtatious Veggie Sarah?

Good!…Also i agree…i hope all the banks(fuckwits) foreclose on all these chains…lest the whole of America become one huge bloody strip Mall.

Zach–it’s “conscience.” (I know, I know, you’re “not that bright!” ;)

Sarah, as a luncher in my twenties, I think your coworkers are morons.

In the 4th grade when I was learning how to spell this word, I developed a memory aid: conscience: “with-science -> con-science”
it works for me.

they’re just not that into you

Anyone who would so waste their lunch is a fool.
Lunch is pretty much the only good part of Monday through Thursday. If you don’t take it seriously, THEN YOU ARE LEADING A LESSER LIFE. PERIOD.
Stop fucking around, people. And stop killing awesome local businesses by pissing your money away at Cosi, et al.
-
And oh yeah: no friends over here; none at all.
-
…….say you, say meeeee
people in the park..playing games in the dark.

Zach, can you use your power to get us a Jack in the Box in midtown? I know it should probably come after things like a good Panda Express, but you already worked your magic with Baja Fresh. Do something. Look they give out free food, you know you love free food.
-
… want that on my “conscience,” but hey, we love you.
-
what on your con-science? that brownie and I used to have ‘closed-door’ meetings about lunch? you don’t want to be my friend? i’ve run uptown for horribly failed meals with you.
“Fewer” friends.
