Old School Midtown East
Lost City just posted this guide to the coolest parts of Midtown East, which includes a stop at PJ Clarke’s, Prime Burger, the super cool hidden gem Diamond Dairy, and another hidden luncheonette near Grand Central that I may have to check out.

I think the “hidden luncheonette” that they refer to is Rosen’s. It’s right across from the elevators that go up to the MTA Headquarters at 347 Madison (between 44th and 45th). We get food from there a lot at work. Good quality and good sized portions. My coworker had a vegetarian burrito thing the other day that looked amazing. Soups aren’t the best though. I’ve had the veggie soup and italian wedding … both very bland (not enough salt).
