Labor Day is Price Hike Day at Cafe Zaiya

As understandable as it is, it never gets any easier to take. Cafe Zaiya (on 41st btw. Madison+5th) is still one of my favorite Midtown Lunches. Price hike or no price hike.

    UGH!

    Considering everything went up there quietly it seems 2-3 months ago, well everything that was Bento or wraped sandwiches, this sucks.

    I hope Beard Papa’s don’t go up though…. not that it would stop me anyways.

    mmmmm…. Chocolate covered Beard Papas.

    The kind tone in the note helps.. well, the fact that there was a note period is helpful. But at the end of the day, it’s still an increase.

    i was at zaiya yesterday and there didn’t seem to be too much of a price hike on anything.
