Less Than 1 Week Left to Enjoy Kati Roll on 46th St.

That’s right.  Our beloved Kati Roll (on 46th btw. 6+7th), has lost their lease and is moving.  The last day to eat at the current location is Thursday, June 28th.  They will re-open on July 7th on 39th St. btw. 5+6th.  Great news for the folks in Midtown South, who never made it up for a delicious “Indian Burrito”.  Bad news for the local regulars.

Currently they only do delivery after 2:30pm, but I was told that they are hoping to do lunchtime delivery from the new location.  It is also going to be twice as big.  R.I.P. Kati Roll 46…  Long Live Kati Roll 39!

Their apology letter, after the jump…

  • Okay, I feel bad for you all on 46th, but I’m jumping for gastronomic joy! I can now have Kati Roll for lunch and dinner and just whenever I want without exerting any major effort!

  • woo-hoo…1 block from work!

  • Nooooooooooo!!!!

  • Yknow, I liked this place; but WHY DIDN’T THEY HAVE A/C!

Here’s praying their new location has better climate-control.

  • Huzzah! I’ve been wanting to try Kati Roll for, like, ever, but I can never seem to make it nine blocks north for lunch. Two blocks, however, I can handle. By the way, if anyone’s ever much further north, I’d recommend Bombay Frankie Roti Roll on Amsterdam and 108th. My delicious introduction to rotis.

  • Just to update, this place is now re-opened and the rolls are as good as ever. There was a minced lamb kebab roll on the menu that wasn’t available as of yet, but sounded good. The layout of the place may get a little tough if there’s a long line…the cash register/kitchen is in the center against the wall on the right side. I think they’re still getting chairs set up and it was a little warm in there.

  • Went today, had some a/c action and wasn’t too crowded around 1:30. My first experience with Kati Roll and the spicey potato was amazing. Wish they had more veg options for those who do not indulge in carnivorous activities.
