Midtown Lunch

Aki is another one of the many Washington Square West sushi spots. For lunch, they offer 2 rolls and a miso soup for $8.50. There is no list of the rolls included in the special so you just have to ask.

It didn’t seem like there was anything interesting included in the list. Although I chose quickly, spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, because I felt bad making the waitress run through them all.  I enjoyed both of them. They were pretty standard, but liked that the spicy tuna had some crunchy things inside. Similarly, the miso soup it came with was what you would expect.

To compare, I have to admit that Jay’s Sushi on the other side of Broad has a better selection and is a bit cheaper.
