PROFILE: Philly Luncher “Ebony”
As is customary at Philly Lunch, every Tuesday we turn over the site to a different lunch’er for his or her recommendations for the best lunch in Philadelphia. This week it’s Ebony, who works at the Comcast Center but likes to explore lunches around the city.
Name: Ebony
Age: 33
Occupation: Senior Manager
Where in Philly do you Work?: Comcast
Favorite Kind of Food: seafood, gourmet popcorn and anything with truffle oil
Least Favorite Kind of Food: steak served rare (ew!)
Favorite Place(s) to Eat Lunch in Philly: Smith’s– yummy, buttery mussles (19th and Chestnut); Giwa— Bi Bim Bop sizzle bowl (16th and Sansom); Oyster House– the OH Burger (with a fried oyster on top) is going to blow your mind! (15th and Sansom)
“Go-To” Lunch Place You and Your Coworkers Eat at Too Often? The Market under the Comcast Center
If you could work anywhere (just because of the lunch) where would it be and why? Greece. Need I say more? (Where my picture was taken!)
Is there anything you’d like to ask the Philly Lunch readers? Where can I get some good bbq ribs for lunch (and not get too messy)?
What about going boneless to decrease the mess factor? Check out the Rib Stand in Reading Terminal, you won’t be sorry!
If you would like to be next week’s Profiled Philly Lunch’er (or know somebody you’d like to nominate), email me at jamie@midtownlunch.com
