Check Out The Fulton Stall Market Starting Today: Fulton Stall Market has its weekday debut today with vendors selling prepared foods and baked goods every Wednesday (and Sunday) from noon to 6 p.m. on South St. (btw. Fulton & Beekman). Edible items include cheese, breads, ice cream, baked goods, pickles and, maybe the closest to actual lunch items, hummus, borekas and quiches. It's no Union Square Greenmarket, but I'll take it.

Fancy Sandwich Shop Salume Opens Today: If you like your Italian panini ungrilled, you're in luck! Salume opens at 330 W. Broadway (at Grand St.) today without a sandwich press in sight. All the sandwiches are out of ML price range, but feel free to weigh in in the comments if you check it out.

Roast Pork Today At Roxy Coffee Shop: I know some of you missed out on the roast pork I wrote about last week at Roxy Coffee Shop on John St. You can get it today or Thursday. Go with an empty stomach!

Free Dessert Alert: A friendly heads up that DT Works, the brick and mortar version of the DessertTruck on Clinton St. (btw. Stanton & E. Houston)  is giving out free bread pudding, ice cream or sorbet all day today. Check out the details here. As Zach would say, freeloaders engage!

New Burger Stand Opening Behind World Financial Center: A stand selling burgers, hot dogs and shakes called Quality Burger is apparently opening around Memorial Day at the North Cove Marina behind the WFC in Battery Park City. No word on what the full menu is, but a PR person says it will have "very reasonable prices." Hopefully this will tide over all those people at Goldman Sachs trying to lure a Shake Shack to that area. UPDATE: Lunch'er Greg let us know that this stand is not new, but just had a name change. It used to be called Merchants BBQ, and he says it has decent burgers, but isn't anything special.

Ed’s Lobster Bar Bringing Kiosk To WFC: The way out of Midtown Lunch range Ed's Lobster Bar in Soho is apparently bringing a kiosk to the marina outside the World Financial Center in a few weeks. The final menu isn't set, and their lobster rolls are spendy, but the sandwiches will start at $6. Let's hope the tuna salad mentioned isn't the only one below $10.

New-School Vendor Parking Spot Throwdown: Apparently there were some words (and possibly schnitzel throwing) between the Frites N Meats and Schnitzel & Things trucks on Monday over a parking spot at Water & Broad streets. Vadim from Frites N Meats fired off a lengthy blog post, saying that the Schnitzel & Things truck tried to take their spot on Monday, instead of Tuesday when they're usually there. And now Oleg from the Schnitzel truck has weighed in with his side of the story. Can't we all just get along?
