Friday is Last Day to Get Your Tafu On
A Passion for Food sends worth that Tafu, the Japanese tea and sweets shop on 51st btw. Lex+3rd, will be closing for good on Friday. This is the only brick and mortar store for Mitzy’s Macarons, so you may want to stock up while you still can.

You can still get Mitzy’s macarons every Saturday at the Brooklyn Flea market in Ft. Greene!
This also comes with the perk of meeting her in person, which I swear makes those little confections even tastier.
Gah! They have always been sold out when I go down!
I hope Mitzy finds a new home for her product. I worte to her suggesting the great tea house near my place – Radiance Tea House on 55th and 7th…like Tafu but with an actual sit down area. Her macarons would fit in really well there.
Anyone else with suggestions? The MidtownLunch magic powers must be able to find Mitzy a new home (within the boundaries of course)
