Midtown Lunch

I liked the healthy and cheap bibimbap bowls served at the teeny Korean place, Bap, on South Street. Since the opening last year they have added 2 items to their small bibimbap menu- Korean pancakes and beef noodle soup.

For just under $5, you get a small but packed container of soup with noodles, mushrooms, greens, and pieces of beef. Like bibimbap, the flavors were very basic- I added some salt, garlic powder, and a splash of black vinegar to get it more to my liking. I would probably chose the beef bibimbap over the soup, but appreciated the bounty of goodies packed in it.
