Trick or Treat? Tricks on Me by I-Sushi

Do you ever have a long ass day where you just want to treat yourself with sushi? I do and I did. I saw the Vampire Bowl, described as “tuna in fried avocado” on the sushi appetizer menu at I-Sushi and I hoped a fried avocado lovingly filled with tuna would perk me up.

But the trick was on me!

The $7 app was just a fried sushi roll with tuna and avocado inside. Womp Womp. The frying process cooked the tuna a little, which was not a good thing.

Tuna Love Roll ($14) ( spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado topped with tuna, caviar, scallion) was better, and helped with my tuna craving,  but the 4 broken hearts were consumed all too quickly and definitely not worth $3.50 a piece.

Happy Halloween ya’ll! Hope it’s only treats for you.

Longtime lurker… I HAD to create an account just for this because iSushi is HORRIBLE. I am sorry you went there. I feel like I should have warned you or something. I still cringe when I think back to how awful the food was (and so expensive!)

  • @Sarah- I know :-( it was one of those weak moments where I had a bad feeling but ignored it. My overall percentage of bad meals to good meals is still killin it though.
