A Sandwich with your Fancy 6 Pack at The Foodery
Did you know that one of the best places to pick up fun beers also serves some food? The Foodery carries a small selection of sandwiches from North South Provisions plus some other DiBrunos snacks.
I grabbed a tasso sandwich ($6.75) out of the fridge. The bread was not the best, the fact that it came right our of the fridge probably had something to do with it. The tomato and piece of lettuce were equally lack luster. But the celery mayo was a nice touch. The main event, the Earl of this sandwich- the tasso ham- brought the flavor that made up for the bread. It was a little fatty, but it was heavily infused with a smoke that any BBQ lover would appreciate.
The Foodery’s cuisine has no chance of overshadowing its beer selection, but if you are hungry and in the area, some smoky tasso ham would make a nice pairing with pretty much all of the beers in there.

The Northern Liberties outpost has made to order sandwiches that are actually pretty damn good. Also, you can grab a beer and eat them in the little dining area right there. A cheap place to grab food before/during a night out in the hood.
