PROFILE: L.A. Lunch’er “Susie”

As is customary on Midtown Lunch, every Tuesday we profile a random reader to get their recommendations for the best spots to lunch near their work. This week it’s Susie, an importer/exporter who hates American food, and needs a good Jamaican rec.

The “goto” lunch place you and your co-workers eat at too often? Ill have lunch alone most often and ill go to the ones listed above

Places you’ve discovered thanks to Midtown Lunch? Spicy BBQ for their Khao Soi

The farthest place you’ll drive for lunch on a normal day? Silver Lake for Cha Cha Cha (656 N Virgil Ave). Or
Hollywood for Sapp Coffee Shop

Dream job location (anywhere in the world), purely for lunch purposes, and why? Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam (for their awesome Duck dish) I couldn’t tell you the exact name of this place (sorry) and Bauhmholder, Germany. Best steak in the world and also the best Doner kebab Türkische Pizza

Anything you’d like to ask the Midtown Lunch readers? I have yet to find a authentic delicious Jamaican restaurant. Any recommendations?

Got an answer for Susie? Put it in the comments. And, as always, if you want to be next week’s Profiled: L.A. Lunch’er (or know somebody you’d want to nominate), email me- zach@midtownlunch.com.
