Au Bon Pain Brings Us A Bastardized Lobster Roll
Have you ever wanted to try lobster salad stuffed into a croissant? Well, Au Bon Pain has started selling just that, bragging that you can get a quarter-pound of lobster meat (and mayo!) in its sandwich that runs a mere $12.99. Judging by the picture alone, I wouldn’t eat this thing, but what about all of you lunchers? Would you eat an attempt at a lobster roll from a chain bakery to save a few bucks over one from Luke’s Lobster or Urban Lobster Shack? Check out a picture of the sandwich after the jump.

I got a coupon for $2.00 off and thought I’d give it a whirl. My stomach feels like it is whirling. I threw most of it away. It was disgusting. Stay away.
