Sweets, Lobster On The Twitter Tracker
It’s a busy day out there in truck land and we have the nice weather to match. Red Hook Lobster is on Varick giving out free Robicelli’s whoopie pies with lobster rolls, Cupcake Crew is on Hudson and Gorilla Cheese is on Varick, according to the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker. Wafels & Dinges is at Hanover Sq., Korilla BBQ is on Front, Frying Dutchmen is on Water, Bian Dang is at Coenties Slip and Bistro Truck is at Old Slip.

There is much joy in Soho/Hudson Sq.—the Red Hook Lobster Pound truck is back on Varick and King!! They mentioned that this will be their recurring spot and day (Wednesday). I know $16 is a glamour lunch, but it’s worth it. I’m partial to the Maine roll (chilled with a light lemon mayo) but they also offer a Connecticut roll (warm with drawn butter).
