Midtown Lunch

If you watch reality TV shows involving food you may have heard of America’s Next Great Restaurant. Since I don’t, it came as a surprise when I saw that the winning restaurant, Soul Daddy, was simultaneously opening three locations yesterday including one on Front St. at the South St. Seaport. There’s nothing I like better than having my lunch destination handed to me. Click through for a look at the “new home cookin'” menu.

I was surprised that nearly everything on the brief menu but the ribs was less than $10, and you can get a pulled pork sandwich for $5! There are about five sides to choose from as well as whole wheat biscuits and corn bread waffles. Stay tuned for a full review tomorrow and feel free to weigh in if you’ve tried this place out.
