Swich Shutters After Menu Revamp
Swich, the pressed sandwich shop on Maiden Lane (btw. William & Gold) closed not too long after opening, and then reopened in April with a revamped menu and new look. Well, now it looks like they’re shuttered for good, according to a note I saw taped to the door yesterday. Check it out after the jump.
There’s another location of Swich on 8th Ave. & 15th St. if you were a fan of their sandwiches. I can’t say I ate there more than a couple of times, but it was nice to know there was another sandwich option out there should I want it.

I went there a couple of times a month and it seemed like they had some supply problems. Every time I went, they seemed to be out of one thing or another. Last time I went, not only did they not have the bread I wanted, but also Avocado, which was the main ingredient of my sandwich. Oh well. Although I will miss those sweet potato chips and the citrus-mint edamame.
