I had some glorius pork belly at Cochon and was sad to see it go, but the same owners re- opened a new concept in its place- with lunch hours! The menu is small, just a handful of sides, pizzas, pastas, and sides.

As you probably know, Stargazy is the latest East Passyunk darling. Sort of like Hugh Grant in Notting Hill (not Hugh Grant in the prostitute scandal), people seem not to be able to help but love that Britishness wrapped in an adorable, unassuming package. Read more »

That trip to Montreal really had me craving French pastries. I knew it was finally time to get down to Artisan Boulanger Patissier. ABP moved from South Philly to the E Passyunk area in 2013, bringing their French pastries and adding a small menu of savory sandwiches. Reading up on ABP had been very promising- people rave about the croissants and they are often sold out by the afternoon.
