    New Vietnamese restaurant coming to Fishtown (308 E. Girard, near Marlborough a few blocks off the El) soon. Details are slim at the moment, but the FNA meeting on it is scheduled for November 12.

    Also, everybody from my native state knows that the REAL state food of New Jersey is pork roll, egg and cheese. Salt, pepper, ketchup. No debate on this! Pork roll is, after all, why I took to scrapple so quickly and eagerly. There is simply nothing in the world better than sandwiches heavily featuring salty, mystery pork meats.
