Croissants and Banh Mi from Artisan Boulanger Patissier

That trip to Montreal really had me craving French pastries. I knew it was finally time to get down to Artisan Boulanger Patissier.  ABP moved from South Philly to the E Passyunk area in 2013, bringing their French pastries and adding a small menu of savory sandwiches. Reading up on ABP had been very promising- people rave about the croissants and they are often sold out by the afternoon.

  • You should already know, but Little Lion and Revolution Taco both opened this week [Foobooz]
  • Cafe Fulya is closing, but- the current owners are looking to reopen elsewhere and the current landlord is looking to reopen in the same spot with a revamped menu including pizzas, which I really hope are Turkish pizzas [The Insider]

  • A new sandwich spot is coming to 6th and South with pretzel croissant rolls [Billy Penn]
