Good to finally see something back in the old Trax spot under the Girard El there.
Quite an interesting sandwich spot developing there.
Jerusalem Market (Girard & Hope) has a good $5 shwarma, Paradise Diner across Girard (next to my much-missed old haunt, the former Wonder Years) is solid, if expectedly generic, diner food (patty melt ftw!), Joe’s Steaks is opening soon in the old New Acropolis Diner spot at Frankford & Girard… and of course, Paesano’s.
There’s also supposed to be either a Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex (keep hearing conflicting reports) place opening next to Penn Treaty Market (also Frankford & Girard), one of these years.
