Cafe Spice Still the Best Bet at Liberty Place
I found myself stuck in Liberty Place due to rain and needing something to eat. After surveying chains of the food court, I realized that Cafe Spice, still seemed like the best option.
I enjoyed their greasy Indian appetizers and chicken tikka 3 years ago (wow, time flies) and was happy to see it still sticking around Liberty Place.
I picked the mini chicken special combo, just under $7 with rice and naan. The chicken options are curry or tikka, and since I had the tikka already, albeit 3 years ago, curry it was. I should have stuck to the tikka, which I do recall as having way more flavor.
I actually really loved the naan, it was fluffy and charred and perfect for dipping in the tamarind sauce (you have to ask for it).
Granted I haven’t given the other spots much of a chance, other than an overpriced, flimsy chicken sandwich one time from Flamers, but am I right? Or is there a better stop for food court food at Liberty Place?

I was just there today. It is my favorite, but then again there’s not much left in LP to choose from. btw Cafe Spice also has a frequent diner punchcard – AND free dessert on Fridays! I have had rice pudding, *mango* rice pudding, and even gulab jamun (sp?) and they were all a nice ending to the meal.
