Valley Shepherd! I’ve been waiting for their RTM spot to finally open.

I grew up in North Jersey, and before I moved out to the West Coast for the better part of the past decade, they were my favorite farmers’ market cheese vendor up there. And on trips back to visit family, I went out of my way to visit them wherever I could over that time. Summit Farmers’ Market, and elsewhere. Can’t wait to become familiar with them again, right here at home!

(Btw, Wursthaus still doesn’t have the pretzel rolls in for that sandwich. Just checked today.)

Khmer Kitchen is officially on The List. Which mean, hopefully, I’ll get to it before this time next year. Heh.

I… I… I… I think I’m gonna pass on a chocolate onion. But that is indeed a cool thing to have around.

Stopped at RTM today. Couldn’t get near Keven Parker’s place at lunchtime, it seemed to be the main attraction. With DiNic’s right down the aisle, that could be a tough one to walk through from now on!

I was able to check out Valley Shepherd Creamery, though. Looks great! They have a good-looking olive bar, as well. With cornichons, marinated chickpeas and a bunch of other stuff. I am definitely gonna be a regular there.

Border Springs Farm also now has ‘coming soon!’ signs up in the old Basic 4 Vegetarian spot. Can never have too much lamb.

Noticed that Fair Food Farmstand was open today, as well. There was a line, so I didn’t want to bother them, but I wonder if they’re open on Mondays now? Or was it just for the holiday today? There was definitely a much larger crowd than usual for a Monday there earlier today.

  • @Jay- I want to try the chicken and waffles at Parker’s, hope to get their soon.
