Midtown Lunch

Tonight is the first night of Passover, so a sandwich on hearty bread was in order before sundown. I recalled Hawk’s report about this awesome sounding cranberry chicken salad sandwich as Jay’s Deli. Jay’s looks like any other deli, but the sandwich counter has some great things going on. I figured this would be the perfect, simple, last bready meal of the week.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out which would be my perfect last sandwich, there are a ton of options.  I decided on the panini with mozzarella, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, and pesto to top it all off.  If that combo of classic ingredients doesn’t speak for itself, then I can vouch for its perfection. And my enjoyment of the hot pressed crusty bread will hopefully be enough to last me the rest of the week.
