  • Had mexicue — pretty efficient operation and good food

Big fan of the brisket slider and the chorizo taco

not so much the smoked chicken taco (boring)

  • I had the $3 chorizo taco (tasty), the $2.50 pinto bean taco (tasty) and the $3 smoked chicken taco (a touch dry and quite boring). Food was served quickly and was warm enough when I got back to my building (despite the 30 degree temps and the 4 block walk).

But I still say “meh!” None of the tacos were particularly special. I think the Chorizo taco was the best one, but was also very much the least healthy choice. There was no kick to any of the tacos and no options for adding hot sauce, jalapenos, cilantro, onions, lime, etc. Nothing I could do to jazz up my lunch. Also $8.50 is no screaming deal.
