Organic Fast Food Suburbian Burgers at Elevation Burger

While seeking a snack in the suburbs (Ardmore, apparently? I am horrible with knowing where I am outside the city limits), we stopped at Elevation Burger for something fast and easy. Burgers here are super customizable and better ingredients are emphasized (organic, grass-fed, free-range, no-trans-fat, environmentally sustainable), but still pretty cheap.

The standard burger comes with 2 patties; I picked the kid’s burget with just the one patty but I probably should have stuck with the grown up version, since the patties are rather thin. On top I got, lettuce, tomato, aged chedder, and Elevation Sauce. The burger wasn’t necessarily juicy, but seasoned decently and had kind of a clean taste to it. I liked toppings, as well as the squishy bun; it all came together in a familiar fast-food- but- better- than McDonald’s/Burger King way, a la Five Guys.

Fries on the side were decent, but we ordered cheese fries and the cheese level was sadly low. If I were rushing through suburbia again I wouldn’t mind getting a quick adult sized burger here again, but would not come out of my way for it.
