Create a Healthy Sandwich and Dip it at Eat- A- Pita

This weekend Eat A Pita opened on 12th street in the spot that once formerly housed Glatt Delight. Inside is a classic fast food set up with the counter of sandwich add ins behind glass leading to the cash register, however the hand written menus give it a more homey feel. The acoustics are a little tricky, I felt like I had to shout my order. They were out of rotisserie chicken, so I had to adjust my game plan.

NY Vendy Awards on September 15th

If anyone is looking for an out of state excursion the NY Vendy Awards are coming up on Saturday the 15th. The truck options are amazing! Greek, Chinese kebabs, Hala, tacos, a TON of desserts and more vendors are being announced every day.

Robot Sushi and Froyo at Yoshi

Today Luncher John finds out if robots can make sushi.

Suburban Station isn’t exactly the foremost food destination in Center City. It does, however, now offer something available nowhere else in Philly: Yoshi – a combination frozen yogurt and fast food sushi (YOgurt + suSHI) establishment. Sure, there are a ton of frozen yogurt shops in town, but where else can you get a sushi lunch to accompany dessert?
