PROFILE: Philly Lunch “Emma”
As we try to do at Philly Lunch, every Tuesday we turn over the site to a different lunch’er for his or her recommendations for the best lunch in Philadelphia. This week it’s Emma, a chocolate pudding addict.
Name: Emma
Age: 30
Occupation: Neuroscientist
Where in Philly do you Work?: UPenn Medical School
Favorite Kind of Food: Pho (or any noodle soup)
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Most Chinese food
Favorite Place(s) to Eat Lunch in Philly: Combo Manakeesh from Manakeesh (4420 Walnut St) followed by a piece of baklavah or pastor tacos from Tacos Don Memo (38th and Chestnut)
“Go-To” Lunch Place You and Your Coworkers Eat at Too Often? The cafeteria in the Abramson Research Center. I am addicted to their chocolate pudding.
Place you discovered thanks to Philly Lunch (if any) I have been dying to go to the Friday-only Greek lunch service at St. George’s (256 S 8th St). Now I have a good reason to go.
If you could work anywhere (just because of the lunch) where would it be and why? Philly of course. But maybe closer to Love Park for all the trucks that congregate there
Is there anything you’d like to ask the Philly Lunch readers? Best lunch time sushi deals in center city?
If you would like to be next week’s Profiled Philly Lunch’er (or know somebody you’d like to nominate), email me at jamie@midtownlunch.com.

Since you seem to love Pho and are on Penn’s campus, I hope you know of the Vietnamese joint on 43rd and Spruce. They make a great bowl of Pho.
