The Downtown Lunch Twitter Account Lives Again!: I know all of you lunch'ers are just dying to know what's happening on Downtown Lunch at all times, and now you can by following us on Twitter (@downtownlunch, natch). The page has pretty much been dormant for a year, but it's been dusted off and you can expect tweets in a timely manner, unless I'm too busy eating.

Cheap Tacos At Toloache Today: We actually have trucks parking downtown today, thanks to clear skies, according to the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker. But first, the Downtown Alliance tweets that Toloache is selling $2 tacos starting at noon. In Soho, Taim Mobile and Rickshaw are both parked on Hudson and Korilla is on Varick. Meanwhile, in the FiDi we have Big D's on Hanover with its "Hope Flan" to benefit Japanese quake/tsunami victims.

Wild Mushroom Pizza At Eddie’s: It's an excellent day to enjoy a Downtown Lunch from your favorite park bench and there are a few options out there on the Twitter Tracker. Eddie's Pizza Truck is on Hudson with wild mushroom pizza, Bian Dang is on Vandam & Varick and Frites N Meats is parked on Water. And if you are in need today, the Wall St. Burger Shoppe has its special hangover burger with a free side.

Celebrate Your Irish Ancestors With Beef Brisket At Calexico: I'm back from jury duty, and that means the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker posts are also back. Today we have beef brisket with chili almond sauce as a special at the Calexico cart on Prince, Mexicue is on Water St. and Kimchi Taco Truck, Rickshaw and Sweetery are all on Hudson. Also, Hot Clay Oven tweets that the Chipotle across the street on Maiden Lane was closed yesterday. Anybody know why?

Kalamata Olive Falafel At Taim Today: Once again, Soho has the monopoly on food trucks downtown today, according to the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker. Taim Mobile is on Hudson with olive falafel, and Korilla is on Varick. A little further downtown there's the La Cense Burger Truck on Barclay. And for all of you who like to drink your lunch (or eat bar food), the Downtown Alliance tweets that Ryan Maguire's pub on Cliff St. has reopened after a fire.

Soho Has All The Trucks Today: It's another one of those days of drought for food trucks in the FiDi, but Soho has a couple of good ones. According to the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker, Schnitzel & Things is on Hudson, along with the Sweetery truck. Both of the Calexico carts are out and the one on Prince has pulled pork in tomatillo/arbol sauce.

Last Day For Bian Dang’s $5 Deal: As you may have seen, Bian Dang has been serving $5 chicken or pork over rice all week, and they'll be on Varick today. You know who else is on Varick? Kimchi Taco Truck with its delicious falafel tacos. Also on the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker, Eddie's is on Hudson with tomato basil soup and Rickshaw and the Sweetery truck are on the same street. Frites N Meats is on Water
