Bian Dang is on Water and Korilla BBQ is on Front St. SoHo has Sweetery, Rickshaw Dumplings and the Joyride trucks all on Hudson.

Have You Bought Your 2011 Vendy Awards Ticket?: As you may have seen, tickets went on sale (and vendor nominations opened!) yesterday for the Vendy Awards taking place Sept. 24 on Governor's Island. A limited number of early bird tickets are available for $80 and proceeds go to the Street Vendor Project. I can't think of a better cause to stuff your face for.

A look at the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker reveals that Schnitzel & Things is on Hudson along with Rickshaw Dumplings which is also on Wall St. Calexico has shredded chicken with mole verde as a special. There's also a new entrant in the downtown lunch scene with Comme Ci Comme Ca parked on Old Slip & Front.

Half Off At Seaport’s Nelson Blue: There's a deal on Scoutmob today for 50% off at Nelson Blue New Zealand Bar & Grill on Front St. at the South St. Seaport. I don't really endorse eating at a lot of places at the Seaport, but if you can do it on the cheap it's a little less shameful.
