Twitter Tracker Is Light On Trucks Ahead Of Storm: As food trucks continue to feed people affected by Hurricane Sandy and another storm approaches, the Twitter Tracker is light on options. What we do have is Wafels & Dinges at 60 Wall and Bob & Jo at Varick & King. Also, we hear that Bennie's Thai Cafe at Fulton & Gold and R&R Coffee across the street are both open.

Most Trucks Are Helping Out Sandy Victims Today: If you're noticing a lack of new school food trucks downtown, that's because the Mayor's Fund for NYC has jumped in to organize them to go to hard hit areas in Staten Island and the Rockaways where food is still scarce. What you can find is the Wafels & Dinges cart at City Hall Park, Tacos Morelos is at Wall & Water, Palenque and Cruisin' Kitchen are at the WFC lot, and Calexico's at Prince & Wooster. Also, word on Twitter is that Burger Burger, Leo's Bagels and Saluggi's in Tribeca are open. Once again, if you see a truck/cart/lunch spot open let us know in the comments!

A Few Trucks/Restaurants Return Downtown: It looks like some food trucks are making their way back downtown to make up for places closed due to lack of electricity, and some have chargers if you need one. Milk Truck's on Wall St., Wafels & Dinges cart is open at City Hall Park, we're hearing Shake Shack, Beans & Greens, Wei West and Harry's Pizza are open in Battery Park City, while Church St. Kitchen and Edward's on W. B'way (nr. Duane) are open in Tribeca. We'll update if we hear of more!
