Toby’s Public House Offers A $10 Express Lunch

If you work in Soho or near Little Italy, listen up: Toby’s Public House on Kenmare St. (at Mulberry) is offering readers of Downtown Lunch a deal on their express lunch which aims to get you fed and back to the office in 30 minutes. You can get salad, pizza and a non-alcoholic drink for $10 (which doesn’t include tax or tip), but you have to mention Downtown Lunch when you order. It’s a nice option if you want a sit-down lunch at a decent price and aren’t in the mood for Chinese or any of the tourist trap Italian spots in the area.

Eat At Schnitzel & Things Truck On The Cheap

I know we don’t often write about Schnitzel & Things on the downtown part of this site, because they’ve been around for a while, but now we have a reason to! There’s a Groupon today for a sandwich (with a side) or platter plus a soda or water for $6 (or $11 for a meal for two) which is more than 50% off. The truck generally parks in Soho and at the World Financial Center lot a couple of days a week so you should have no problem putting this deal to good use. Check the Twitter Tracker for their daily location.

Get Half Off At Pinche On Mott: We have yet to review the goods at Pinche Taqueria, but the location on Mott St. (btw. Prince & Spring) has a deal on Scoutmob today for 50% off, with a maximum discount of $5. It looks like you have to eat there to get the deal, but it might be worth it for a super cheap taco lunch.

The Palm Offering Cheap Food On Mondays This Month

Unlike some of the steakhouses or fancy places in Midtown, we in the lowest part of Manhattan don’t get in on many $10 or under lunch time deals. Well, for the remaining three Mondays in May, you can get a steakburger at The Palm’s Tribeca location on West St. (btw. Warren & Chambers)  for $8.37 during lunchtime with this coupon. It’s in honor of National Hamburger Month and amazingly you have the choice of five different burgers AND it comes with fries.

Save Some Money At OBAO: Not everything on the menu at OBAO on Water St. (at Coenties Slip) is less than $10, but there's a deal today to get 50 percent off. You can get $20 worth of food for $10, meaning you can get something other than the lunch special or pho for once.

It’s A Pizza Has A Cheap Deal: I normally don't post about deals that are more than $10, but there's one today from It's A Pizza on John St. (btw. Nassau & Broadway) that's pretty sweet. You can get $40 worth of food for $16 and it seems to include their whole menu. So you can buy lunch for the office while secretly being a cheapskate.

Get Half Off At Milady’s Bar: I didn't even know Milady's Bar existed on Prince St. (btw. W. Broadway & Thompson), but there's a deal for $20 worth of food for $10 and it looks like the menu is pretty cheap for the neighborhood anyway. Cheeseburgers and hot wings sound pretty good right now.
