Hummus & Pita Co. serves hummus, of course, but also a smorgasborg of dishes like gyro, chicken and steak cooked in a taboon oven, shawarma, salads along with baked goods like bourekas, baklava and rugelach. There are also daily specials like soup and schnitzel.

It will be interesting to see how this compares with nearby Nish Nush or even Baba Ghanouge. If you check it out opening day, let us know what you think of the food in the comments.
