Midtown Lunch

It’s not only the Financial District that’s having a flurry of new lunch spots opening: Battery Park City is having its day in the sun with the previous Japanese curry invasion announcement and word that Bill’s Bar & Burger is coming to the neighborhood. It’s already been approved by contributors over on the Midtown site, so maybe we should start getting excited about the beef influx coming our way.In case you haven’t been to one of the other two locations in the city – in the Meatpacking District and Rockefeller Center – Bill’s serves burgers of the thin, smashed variety. And apparently some sliders that are modeled after the White Castle variety.

Apparently, getting extra meat in your burger is the way to go. Maybe this will make the line at Shake Shack slightly less insane at lunch time?
