The Biryani Cart empire on 46th btw. 6+7th got a little bigger this week with the launch of Juicy Wings, a cart specializing in chicken wings. The new cart is situated on the north side of 46th, across from Meru’s other two carts. This week’s cold weather, and major snowfall, is not ideal for a brand new cart, but those who have braved the elements have been treated to an interesting new option in mobile dining. Thanks to mother nature (and the fact that it’s Monday?) the newly open Juicy Wings Cart wasn’t a mad house today, but reading the first reports makes us think that might not last too long. From Lunch’er Matt:

Its right across the street from the OG and Sandwich Land Cart. WINGS! 4 flavors. “Tripple” X Fahrenheit is soaked in spicy naga chili and habenero. Texas Ranch is Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce, Sweet Wasabi is a honey glazed horseradish, sriracha is self explanatory. I went with the tripple x farenheit.

A little over a month ago we told you that the Biryani Cart (on 46th btw. 6+7th) had plans to a brand new cart across the street selling their version of hot wings. Well, today is the day!  We got word last night that the Juicy Wings cart will be launching today on the NW corner of 46th and 6th.  According to the menu, they’ll be serving 4 kinds of wings, plus mini philly cheesesteak sandwich. Early adopters, let us know how it is in the comments!

It looks like the Vendy Award winning Biryani Cart (on 46th and 6th) is on a roll. A few weeks ago they got a new logo, and added a few new sensible menu items. After all, if you sell biryani and kati rolls, adding a new curry or dal doesn’t seem too strange. But hot wings!? Yes, you read that right. The Biryani Cart has a brand new cart hitting the streets soon serving their special brand of hot wings and steak and cheese subs. As you can see from the brand new sign they’ll carry four kinds of wings (all deep fried and then sauced) plus I’m guessing some kind of sauce-less option for those who like their wings plain. We’re also hearing that the Philly cheese-steaks will be small (like a hot dog bun) and come two to an order- like their famous Kati Rolls. The cart will be parked on the opposite side of the street (the NW corner of 46th and 6th) and we’re hearing it is less than two weeks away from launching. To say we’re excited for this one would be quite the understatement…
