PROFILE: Midtown Lunch’er “Molly”
Every Tuesday we turn over the site to a different Midtown Lunch’er for his or her recommendations for the best lunch in Midtown. This week it’s Molly, a Marketing pro who is looking for some good Latin food.
Name: Molly
Age: 29
Occupation: Marketing Coordinator
Where in Midtown do you work? McGraw Hill Building
Favorite Kind of Food: Latin
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Indian
Favorite Place(s) to Eat Lunch in Midtown: Grilled Cheese and Soup (Morris or Milk Trucks), Margon (on 46th btw. 6+7th), long lunch trips to Koreatown, and Daisy’s Grits was a favorite while the holiday markets were open.
“Go-To” Lunch Place You and Your Coworkers Eat at Too Often? Evergreen Diner (on 47th btw. 6+7th)… or as we call it, The Diner.
If you could work anywhere (just because of the lunch) where would it be and why? Costa Rica. The lunchtime “casados” are so healthy and filling but don’t weigh you down in the afternoon. Also? It’s Costa Rica.
Anything you’d like to ask the midtown lunch readers? Suggestions for Latin dining? Cuban? Peruvian? Argentine? Empanadas?
Got an answer for Molly? Put it in the comments. Want to be next week’s Profiled: Midtown Lunch’er (or know somebody you’d like to nominate)? Email editor@midtownlunch.com.
