Bouchon Bakery Adds Two New Sandwiches

I stopped into Bouchon Bakery at Rockefeller Center over the weekend and noticed that they’ve recently added two new sandwiches, including a braised shortrib on pan au lait ($9.95) and a smoked turkey on multi-grain baguette ($8.50). Both sandwiches looked hearty enough to stand up by themselves for a lunch, so we’ll definitely be back for a full review. In the meantime, if you’ve tried the new Bouchon Bakery sandwiches, please let us know what you think in the comments.

oooh, that turkey on multi-grain might be the one they used to have that was my absolute fave. They switched it out for a turkey reuben and I was so hoping they’d bring the old awesomeness back. Sounds like they did! Chris, you just made my day!

I had the turkey sandwich yesterday and it was really delicious. Crunchy multi-grain baguette, turkey, BACON aioli and avocado. Even better tasting with the beautiful/warm weather.

I had the short rib sandwich over thew eekend. It was warmed up in a press so the bread was crispy (it’s in a pain au lait, not a baguette). The short rib was slow cooked with mushrooms and the meat was moist and tender. It also had cheese, but I couldn’t tell what kind. Regardless, it was delicious.

  • I also liked the shortrib, but thought it was a bit small for $10.

  • I tried the short rib sammi as well. We should note that while these two sammies were added, two were taken away.
I find that their sammies lack…something. Can’t quite put my hand on it, but there’s something about them that just doesn’t taste complete. Maybe they just need salt? Or a citrus/tangy element?
The fudgetaboutit is a whole other story. Wow.
