So we just have to show our VISA credit card and we’ll receive a sandwich?

  • that sounds too easy, you just line up and show them a credit card and voila, free ice cream sandwiches?!

I think you need to buy something with a Visa card for a freebee.

fyi – the schedule here is wrong – it’s not going to be at Park and 52/53 until Friday. Today it’s at 50th /6th Ave, might want to change it ML.
check Sweetery’s web site or Twitter for exact schedule

    • The schedule is correct. They have two trucks… the regular truck, which is giving away the whoopie pies, is on 50th and 6th. The VISA truck, which has the ice cream sandwiches will be on Park this afternoon from 2-4pm.

But you’re right, people should check twitter before heading out.

    you two are right.

the problem with me and other freeloaders is that ‘use’ is too confusing. they gotta say ‘buy’ which is what is required in this case. This is just like an add-on deal, not a completely freeloader deal.

I was going to buy a whoopie pie and get a freebie, but when I saw these tiny whoopie pies (around the size of half dollar) for $2 I walked away.

They offer very little product for the price. Same thing with these cupcake trucks. I dont know how they make any money, I almost never see anybody buying anything from them.

I once tasted their macaroons which were very good, and planned on ordering a few dozen for passover. However, they wanted $1.50 or $1.75 per macaroon, even when buying a few dozen, so I said forget it.
