Metro Has a Chicken Tikka Masala Sandwich?
Confession time: I haven’t stepped inside a Metro in over 5 years, so long ago that I was working on the West Side. There’s a certain smell that emanates from their stores that turns me off. Then the other day, they managed to pique my interest in an advertisement for their “Sandwich of the Month,” Chicken Tikka Masala. Yes, I’ve probably passed this sign once a day this entire month and am only now noticing it. I’m a fan of DIY Chicken Tikka Masala sandwiches, and wondering if I would be a fan of this. If you’ve tried it, let me know if it’s good enough to break my Metro exile.

I tried it last week. It’s not bad, has a lot of potential, but I found it dry. It could have used some Indian-style sauce, and not the typical-sandwich-dipping-sauce it comes with.

I’m quite proud of the fact that i’ve never stepped foot inside a Cafe Metro. I think that’s a brag-able achievement.

I found it rather tasty! I’m hoping they add it on to their regular menu. I usually find their stuff really pretty good! I do love the online specials (smart). I made it a mission at one time to hit as many as I could. think there is only one I didn’t. I know weird but they are consistent!
