Your Sneak Peak at The Counter’s Burger, Coming Soon to Times Square

Yesterday we reported that California chain “The Counter” would be opening in Times Square in the Fall. In the comments Lunch’er “Steve” requested a review of one of the L.A. locations, and today Zach obliged over on the Los Angeles section of Midtown Lunch.

You people in New Yawk City are going to FINALLY experience some decent, and fairly priced burgers because good, honest, purveyors like ‘The Counter’, like ‘Five Guys’ and like several other non-New Yawk city types are going to get the lion’s-share of the business.
And what will happen to the ‘La Frito boys’? Who cares?
And, it is DAMNED WELL about time, I say.

I love burgers with a myriad of potential toppings, but usually cruise to Jackson Hole when in the mood for that kind of thing.

Jules might say that is a tasty burger, but I would strike down with a furious venegance anyone that thinks pineapple belongs on top of ground meat.

Then do NOT set foot in Hawaii, or anywhere in the Caribbean.
Because those folks may not appreciate your striking down ‘a furious venegance (sic)’ upon their lovely brown-skinned bodies.
