Miss Softee Returns on June 1st With Loads of New Stuff
Now that the ladies have Billy Gunnz, I suppose we can get back to promoting the female run Mister Softee Trucks… This just in from Miss Softee–she’s officially finished all of her permit renewal paperwork and will be back on the road starting June 1st. And that’s not her only news…
This summer you can expect to see some new menu items from Miss Softee including special smaller ‘tasting’ cones, great for midtown lunchers who are lactose intolerant or just looking for a small sweet fix, or those of us who can’t make up our minds and want to try everything. Also, on tap, more of Miss Softee’s own baking. New baked goods to include: delicious bars (a chocolate chip, butterscotch, pecan bar), her secret family crumb cake, whole poached fruits and more. Mmmm…you had me at crumb cake.
And if you can’t get enough of Miss Softee in midtown she’s working on a cooking business venture–in-home lessons and dinner parties with a focus on natural, from-scratch cooking for family, friends, and one-person meals.
Personally I’m looking forward to the return of the potato chip dip cone. I hope this summer Miss Softee might consider some of those super crunchy Kettle Chips for the chip topping. What kind of special topping would you like to see this summer?

ive heard good things about something called a “choco-taco” , is that something that the softee trucks sell?

some of the trucks carry frozen treats, including the chocotaco, but I work a soft serve only truck… which means everything I make is fresh and made-to-order!! if you like the ingredients in the chocotaco, try a waffle cone filled with chocolate, vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts!!!

I saw a another female working a Mr. Softee truck this week on the southwest corner of 47th and 6th!

WTF? I think she is one beautiful lady, and an astute business woman as well. And when I am next in New Yawk City (week after next, according to my schedule) I will seek out her truck, order up a Softee and ask for an autograph.
