Yips Now Serving Noodle Soup
Was walking by Yips (on 51st 52nd btw. 5+6th) the other day, and noticed this new sign in the window. It’s been awhile since I had a craving for Yips, but I’m kind of curious (especially if the soups are excellent, like Hing Won.) Nothing on the menu really popped out at me, but who knows. There could be a gem hidden in there. Has anybody tried these new soups? Check out the menu, after the jump…

One thing about Yips – when I started working in the ‘hood 5 or 6 years ago, it would be packed, with three lines running. Now whenever I go in there’s two lines, max, and only about 3-4 people in each.
What happened?

vdub – no offense to zach/ml, but that may be the midtownlunch *style* (obviously the typeface is different, font aside), ml borrowed the style from classic supermarket signs.

Wish I were in the mood for soup. Yip’s is the closest food I’ll eat for lunch — but with Roast Pork on the menu today, it looks like the soups are going to have to wait till next week.

Beef Stew Noodle Soup is a GO! Tried it today.. they give you lots of Beef and lots of noodles. Good flavors for Yips. They dont have any chow fun today though.
if their noodle soups are any good, this might bring me back to try yips again. the beef stew sounds good.
