At Lunch Now: Midtown East ‘wichcraft Opens Today; Rock Center Location Next Week
‘wichcraft continues to spread outward from Bryant Park, opening it’s
3rd location in Midtown (4th if you count Murray Hill) on 47th btw.
Lex+Park. Nobody can deny that it’s expensive, but you can’t put a
price on quality. Oh wait, I’m hearing now you actually can.
Sandwiches are $7 to $9.50.And the Collichio fun continues as the Rock Center Concourse location is
scheduled to open next Monday (the 26th).

I’ve been to the on in Bryant Park a few times. It’s an excellent sandwich- one of the better ones you’re ever gonna have. But its hard to pay $10 and not really feel full afterwards.

Wichcraft’s employees are top notch. The food is high quality and well made. However, I agree with Vishal – there’s no point in me spending $10+ for a chicken sandwhich and needing a snack in an hour.
They do make an excellent brioche cinnamon bun.

Also, they are damn slow sandwiches. Still, definitely tasty. A once in a while treat, maybe.

‘wich craft is ok but I like Starwich much better

Actually, some of their sandwiches are well under $10. I have never understood the rationale behind ‘wichcraft’s pricing scheme. My absolute favorite sandwich there is the grilled cheddar, smoked ham, pear & mustard on cranberry-pecan bread, which costs $6.50. My second favorite is the $8 sicilian tuna. And my third choice jumps up to $9.50 for roasted turkey, avocado, bacon, onion relish, and aioli on ciabatta.
Butties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
